Mr Matthew Gee

Mr Gee is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in the management of problems related to the pelvis, hip and knee. He studied medicine at King's College London, before completing his surgical training across the South-East of England. He became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS) in 2011. He offers expertise in primary and revision hip and knee replacement surgery including unicompartment knee replacements, knee arthroscopy and ligament reconstruction, and pelvic and acetabular trauma surgery. Mr Gee was appointed as a Consultant Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgeon at the renowned teaching hospital, King’s College Hospital, in April 2015 and is the clinical lead for joint replacement surgery across the trust.

Mr Bansal is a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon specializing in hip and knee surgery. He has special interest in treating wide range of hip and knee conditions including arthritis, sports injuries, and trauma. His area of interest is day case arthroplasty surgery, prehabilitation before surgery, improving pain management in lower limb surgery and improving patient outcome by incorporating shared decision making and better patient understanding of the condition.

Professor Fares Haddad is a Hip and Knee Reconstructive Surgeon at University College Hospitals. He is Divisional Clinical Director of Surgical Specialties at UCH, and Director of the Institute of Sport, Exercise and Health at University College London.

Mr Peter F Hill

Peter joined the Army whilst a medical student at Cambridge University and completed his orthopaedic training in the Armed Forces studying on the Oxford, Cambridge and London training rotations. He finished his knee specialist training in Sydney at the world renowned North Sydney Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Centre. During his training he was honoured with several awards including the Army’s Montefiore Memorial Prize and Medal for excellence in surgery and the Sir Walter Langdon-Brown Prize for his Master of Surgery (M.Chir) thesis at Cambridge. He was appointed to the consultant staff of Frimley Park Hospital, Surrey in 2003 and has been the visiting knee surgeon to the Defence Medical Services Rehabilitation Centre, Headley Court until 2016.
