Established in 2017, Private Health Professionals is a CQC-registered, multidisciplinary private healthcare practice based in Barnstaple, at the heart of North Devon. 

Our family-run clinic brings together an experienced team of doctors, orthopaedic consultants, Sport medicine, physiotherapists, health and fitness specialists, providing high-quality, personalised healthcare all under one roof at the Tarka Leisure Centre.
We believe private healthcare should feel personal. Our boutique-style approach combines professional clinical expertise with a welcoming, relaxed environment, where patients have the time to be listened to and receive care tailored to their individual needs.
With access to excellent on-site facilities, including a state-of-the-art gym and rehabilitation environment, we are uniquely placed to support patients throughout their healthcare journey — from initial consultation and diagnosis through to treatment, rehabilitation, prevention and long-term wellbeing.

Our services include Private GPs, specialist orthopaedic consultants and vascular surgeons, sports medicine consultants, physiotherapists, rehabilitation specialists and clinical Pilates, as well as strength and conditioning professionals. Together, our multidisciplinary team can support you throughout your healthcare and rehabilitation journey — from diagnosis and treatment through to recovery, restoring everyday function and returning to the activities, work or sport that matter to you.
