Midlands Joint Injection Clinic, based in Derby, offers appointments with a doctor who has over 30 years' of experience working in the NHS and in sports and exercise medicine.

Once you make contact, you will be called by the doctor to assess your condition and if appropriate, you will be booked into a clinic where you will be clinically assessed, scanned and treated with an injection if appropriate, to try and help alleviate your pain.

Injections are performed under ultrasound guidance.  This allows for more accurate needle placement with evidence showing an improvement in overall effectiveness of the injection and a reduction in complications.
