Arthrosamid® es un hidrogel de poliacrilamida desarrollado por Contura como inyección intraarticular duradera aprobada en Europa para proporcionar alivio sostenido del dolor provocado por la osteoartritis de rodilla (OA). Se han completado numerosos estudios clínicos para Arthrosamid® y hay ensayos en curso. Arthrosamid® is a polyacrylamide hydrogel developed by Contura as a long-lasting intra-articular injection approved in Europe to provide sustained pain relief from knee osteoarthritis (OA). A number of clinical studies have been completed into Arthrosamid® with further trials ongoing. Published data has already shown that over 70% of patients had a positive experience of treatment, exceeding a minimal clinically important difference, with a reduction in pain, stiffness and physical mobility at 6 months with pain and physical function maintained beyond one year.1
